WHAT IS A BEARDED AX?
A bearded axe, or Skeggøx (from Old Norse Skegg, “beard”, and øx, “axe”) refers to various axes, used as a tool and weapon, as early as the 6th century AD. It is most commonly associated with Viking Age Scandinavians.
The hook or “beard”, i. e. the lower portion of the axe bit extending the cutting edge below the width of the butt, provides a wide cutting surface while keeping the overall weight of the axe low.

Closed Toe Shoes that are comfortable moving in.
Clothing that gives you a full range of motion.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD?
We do not have our own kitchen in house, however you are highly encouraged to grab something to go from one of neighboring restaurants and bring it in with you. Bring in your own cake and snacks for a birthday party. Whatever y’all need!
For larger parties, we can accommodate any catering of your choice. We have even hosted potlucks before.
WHAT ABOUT DRINKS?
We have an extensive non-alcoholic menu of NA beer, wine, CBD/D9, and mocktails We also have a huge (100+) selection of local craft beer, wine, mead, champagne, sparkling seltzers, hard kombucha, and adult slushees. We do not have liquor available.
WHAT ABOUT COST AND PAYMENTS?
It is free to walk in. Besides ax throwing, you can buy a beer, play some video games, get into a board/card game, or play ring toss.
Our standard lanes cost $28pp/hr
Private lanes cost $35pp/hr
Payment is due at the time of axe throwing session. Our booking system will collect credit card information to hold space, but will not be charged unless you break our cancelation policy.
CAN I WALK IN OR DO I NEED A RESERVATION?
Walk ins are welcome if we have available space. It is highly recommended that you make a reservation to avoid a long wait time.
If you make a reservation please keep in mind you will need to arrive 10-15 minutes early to go through the check-in process, if you can not make it early, you will need to contact us so we can make accommodations or we will have to give your reservation to the next available walk-in.
WHAT ABOUT LARGE GROUPS/CORPORATE EVENTS?
We love hosting events! We customize a package for each large group to address their wants, needs and budget.

DO YOU GUYS HAVE LEAGUES?
Yes! We have an in house league, that is great for first time throwers as well as those with experience. It is designed to be a social league with a little bit of competition built in.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER?
Yes, you do. Part of your checkin process when you arrive includes signing a liability waiver.
IS THE BEARDED AX DOG FRIENDLY?
Yes, we very much are. As long as your dog isn’t an ax hole, they are welcome.
Cancelation Policy
You may cancel or edit your booking at anytime up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled start time at no charge. You will be charged 50% of your booking if you cancel 4-24 hours before your reservation. Not showing up or canceling less than 4 hours before your scheduled start time and your card on file will be charged the full price of the reservation.
